Late to the party

I have finally started a blog. I do not intend for this to be a place for rants, though I may not be able to help myself. Instead, I'll have some potentially useful information about me, interesting things I've come across, and probably some pictures. Don't get too excited now.

For those of you that don't know, I'm currently a post-doc in Scott Strobel's lab at Yale University in New Haven, CT. I I finished my PhD in Biochemistry in John Perona's lab at UCSB last November and started here in February. Anyone in the area should come by and visit - New York City is about an hour away, Boston two hours, and Philadelphia two and a half.
