Plaxco's Cocaine Detector

Kevin Plaxco, who was on my dissertation committee, is moving away from the pristine world of enzymology to biomaterials applications. He was recently written up for the development of a sensor based on a folding transition of a DNA molecule which binds cocaine. This method is generalizable, sensitive, and reusable.
